Macclesfield Pancake Race 2024

It’s back! Macclesfield’s annual Pancake Race will be taking place on Shrove Tuesday (13th February 2024).                                          

The event will see competing teams run a relay race up and down a short course between the Town Hall and Mill Street, while flipping a pancake in a frying pan. It starts at midday, with an expected end time of 1.30pm.

Registration is just £30 per team, you can register a team of up to four people and multiple teams per organisation are allowed (and encouraged).

There is no minimum sponsorship amount, we just ask that team members raise as much as they can for East Cheshire NHS Charity, your local NHS Charity. 

We’re encouraging everyone in our local community to get involved in the 2024 Pancake Day Race. Whether you’re a local business, group of friends, family members, colleagues, a club or organisation, we need your help raising funds for East Cheshire NHS Charity.

There are lots of prizes up for offer, including an award for the best fancy dress. Our local radio station Silk FM will be on hand to keep the crowds entertained.

Macclesfield Pancake Race Registration Form

Only compete in the race if you are generally fit and well and wearing sensible footwear. Please note that your safety is your own responsibility, we cannot be held liable for any accidents or injury.

The race is taking place in a public area and you may well be photographed or recorded on video. The photos and videos may then be used in local media and hospital communications

Once this form is submitted you will be redirected to pay the £30 entry fee via Just Giving.
